Northwest Trail Riders and two other horse riding groups will help repair and restore the horse camp at Tolowa Dunes State Park Saturday.

The club, now entering its 21st year, has a memorandum of understanding with the Forest Service to clear the trails at Tolowa Dunes and maintain the horse day camp at the park.

Back Country Horsemen will help with the heavy work, which is expected to last from four to six hours.

The horse group for Jackson County, Ore., provided funding for all of the material the riders will use.

Those interested in participating in the repair can meet at the Pala gate of Tolowa Dunes to carpool to the day camp work place. Bring shovels, gloves, rakes and other tools necessary for corral repair and site maintenance.

Northwest Trail Riders club treasurer Eileen Mitchell is providing dinner at her home for the workers after the project is finished.
