Del Norte High softball player Myriah Davis cheers on her team on Wednesday. She had a lot to cheer about, as the Warriors defeated Eureka 8-4 to got to 6-1 in the Big 5 Conference and 16-2 overall. Today, the Warriors play in doubleheader action at home against Arcata beginning at 2 p.m., weather permitting. The game was originally set for Saturday, but was recently moved so some of the girls could get ready for prom that night. With the win on Wednesday, Del Norte moved into sole possession of first place in the Big 5 (The Daily Triplicate/Bryant Anderson).
