Triplicate staff Friends of Del Norte presented awards to winners of its Aleutian Goose Poster and Poetry Contest during the annual festival on Saturday. Poetry award winners included: sixth graders Joren Adams, Jacob Dorosz and Layla Moore; and fifth graders Brittany Mendosa, Strand Hill and Jordan Simmons. Art award winners for fifth and sixth grades included: Kenzi Davis, Brianna Hicks and Chang Xiong. Art award winners from Kindergarten through third grade included: Rory McCain and Ayla Benoit. |
