Two studies involving a proposed youth center and a industrial park near McNamara Field are the subject of a public hearing Tuesday.

At the Del Norte County Board of Supervisors meeting, the group will give the public an opportunity to learn about and comment on the two studies' findings.

The youth center feasibility study, done by Rural Human Services, will include data and analysis that outline plans for a youth center in Del Norte County. Included in the study are the types of activities and services that might be available at the center as well as estimated expenses for the first two to three years of the center's operation.

Likewise, the potential McNamara Field Airport Industrial Park study, prepared by the Tri-Agency, will present possible businesses that would be developed at the proposed business park.

Possible locations for the park will also be included as a part of the study as well as specific recommendations for use for the next three or four years.

The public hearing is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Flynn Administration Building at 981 H Street, Room 100.

The actual board meeting will begin at 10 a.m.
