Ministries appreciates Christmas volunteers

Reach Out Ministries Community Church in Klamath would like to thank all those who make our Community Christmas Celebration and Service a great success. On Dec. 24, more than 100 people throughout the day came to this service and celebration. Many were saved and rededicated their lives to Jesus. We would also like to thank those who created their time to wrapping and giving out Christmas presents at the event as well as those who prepared and served Christmas dinner to everyone.

Robbery leaves resident uncertain about community

I am a single mother of two children and my son is a special needs child. We were relocated here on the victim witness program last year. We don't know many people here in Crescent City so we are asking for your help.

On Dec. 18, our home was robbed and vilely mistreated. My children and I feel threatened and vulnerable in our own home. The reason we need your help is that there were five brief cases taken, two containing firearms. The others contained paper such as birth certificates, shot records, serial numbers and registration for the firearms. Any information would be greatly appreciated to whoever comes across our property.

Also stolen was my children's medications, our video camera, jewelry, MP3 player and gift certificates from under our Christmas tree, DVD player, VHS player, Playstation games and our faith in this beautiful town which we hope to regain.
