Del Norte Youth Football & Cheer will be holding sign-ups for football players ages 8-14, cheerleaders ages 8-14 and mascots ages 5-7. Football players and cheerleaders must be eight on or before Nov. 30, 2012; 14-year-olds must provide proof of enrollment in the eighth grade. Mascots must be 5 on or before Nov. 30, 2012. Cost is $125 per child with a refundable $200 uniform/gear deposit. Registration forms can be downloaded and printed at www.dnyf.org. Sign-up dates are: • Tuesday, May 1: 5-7 p.m.; Department of Health and Human Services, 880 Northcrest Drive • Saturday, May 19: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; Department of Health and Human Services, 880 Northcrest Drive • Friday–Wednesday, June 29–July 4: Del Norte Youth Football Fireworks Booth, Wal-Mart parking lot, 900 Washington Blvd. Free physicals will also be provided during the registration period on May 19. A $50 late fee will be assessed for any sign-ups after July 4. |
