Our police force is irreplaceable

This past spring, my house was burglarized while I was out of town. Thanks to alert neighbors and the Crescent City Police force, the accused burglar was apprehended with his hand still in the cookie jar.
A special thanks to Det. Keith Doyle (now retired) who handled this incident very rapidly and most professionally.

My stolen property was returned to my son and thank God for homeowner’s insurance.
After this incident occurred, I don’t think the Crescent City Police Department could be replaced in a “blink of an eye.”

Allstars are champs thanks to support

Congratulations Del Norte Allstars Major Softball Team 11-12 Girls District 26 Champions! It is a major accomplishment for you and your community. The coaching staff motto: “With Hard Work Comes Great Reward” rang true.
I’m very proud to be a part of a Little League program that is teaching these young ladies the skills they need to excel in this highly competitive sport.
I want to thank the coaches Aaron Healy and Travis Stover for the countless hours (volunteered) preparing this team to compete in a short amount of time.
To all of our sponsors and donors who helped the team travel to the Bay Area: a big thank you! We couldn’t have done it without you.
Last, but not least, thank you to the families of these talented girls for the traveling, time and dedication to the team.
It feels great to know these girls have a bright future ahead in Del Norte softball. Hopefully, many more championships and future Warriors will rise from this program.
