Obituary: Robert “Scout” Olmos (May 12, 1956 – Oct. 5, 2012)

Robert “Scout” Olmos was born on May 12, 1956 and passed on October 5, 2012, at the age of 56. 

His parents were Manual M. Olmos (deceased) and Dolores Z. Wedig; sisters, Alicia (deceased) and Jim Wright and Laura and Bobby Miller; children, Josh Jackson, Maria and Mike Runnion and Devyn Olmos; four grandchildren; many nephews, nieces, aunts and uncles and loving friends. Born in Vallejo, lived in Pittsburg, Crescent City and Klamath but mainly in Martinez.


He worked for Co Co County Sewer & Drain for 13 years., then Letts & Littlejohn’s Plumbing for five years, and then as a handyman. He was schooled in Martinez, Pittsburg and Crescent City. He enjoyed art, playing pool and his guitar. 

He loved living at the Klamath River for 10 years and loved his dog Tazz.

Robert received great care at Regional Medical Center, Martinez, and Alta Vista Cremation & Funeral Services.

Memorial service is at 10 a.m., Oct. 27, at Christ Lutheran Church, 2370 Harbor View Dr., Martinez, Pastor Phil Kohlmeyer presiding.
