Daisy the dog found herself in a tight spot when she chased a cat Sunday on Whaler Island. At 10:30 a.m., Search and Rescue volunteers found her stuck on a ledge 25 feet above the ground, volunteer Fran McNamara said, adding, “If she had (jumped) Daisy would have been very, very injured or would have died. Peggy (Thomas) probably rappelled about 15 feet down to the ledge the dog was at.” Thomas brought Daisy up uninjured.
