Jorene “Jo” Stinson Williams
Jorene “Jo” Stinson Williams, age 82, of Medford, Oregon gracefully danced her way into heaven on Thursday October 10, 2013, straight into the arms of her husband of 40 years, Sid Stinson; who had been waiting patiently for her for the last 19 years.

Jorene was born October 16, 1930, to Estel and Myrtle Kirkland in Stuart, Okla. Jo was the third of three children, the others being Kenneth Kirkland and Cleta Malone.

On July 29, 1950, Jo married the love of her life, Sid Stinson, of the Marin County Sheriff’s Office, while Jo worked as a bookkeeper for several Marin County companies. Together they had three daughters: Kathy Sellers of Mount Shasta, Calif., Judy Rupiper of Sonoma, Calif., and Leanna Eckrem of Medford, Ore. Over their 40 years together, they built the most beautiful marriage and loved each other deeply until Sid’s passing while living in Crescent City, on June 4, 1994.

On March 24, 2004, Jo married Remos Donald Williams. Making their home in Medford, Ore., they became active members of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, as well as participants in many classic car associations.

Jo loved dancing, fishing, and making new friends; but mostly, Jo loved her family of her three daughters, seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Donations to the American Stroke Association and Asante Hospice of Medford are greatly appreciated.
