Rick Morgan passed away on Dec. 16, 2013, at the age of 61. He was surrounded by loving family when he passed. He was born in Eugene, Ore., on Feb. 7, 1952. Rick was raised and went to school in Crescent City.

He met his high school sweetheart Trish Creek in Crescent City at Del Norte High School. In 1970 he graduated Del Norte High, where he was active in sports. He worked in the grocery business and was the owner/operator of several different grocery stores. He later worked as a produce broker and was known as the “King” of the produce world.

He loved to golf and was a dedicated fan of the San Francisco Giants and Dallas Cowboys. Golfing every Friday with his friends was what he always looked forward to. He loved his “girls” Monica and Chasity as well as his grandchildren Hunter, Lola and Beau. He enjoyed watching Lola ride horses, taking Hunter golfing and playing ball with Beau.
