Expo seeks more participating groups

Organizers of the first-ever Wild Rivers Coast Conscious Living Expo scheduled May 17–18 is looking for more groups to participate in the  weekend of speakers, vendors and inspiration supporting sustainable lifestyle choices.

So far, the all-weekend event at the Del Norte County Fairgrounds will feature local celebrity author and eco-revolutionary Derrick Jensen, presentations from the Smith River Alliance, Del Norte alternative-energy guru Clarke Moore, the Klamazon Delegation, County Supervisor Roger Gitlin, Ron Cole, Dan Schultz of Maitreya Healing Center, Robin Sutherland, Soul Feet, Tedd Ward, Visana Wellness, native artisan co-op Bear Island Designs and other experts in fields from permaculture, herbs, local food and nutrition to constitutional rights and the proposed state of Jefferson.
