The private committal for LueEze Carol Jacobs, 82, of Crescent City, who passed away on Monday, June 16, 2014, was held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2014, at the Woodville Cemetery, Rogue River, Ore.

LueEze was preceded in death by her father, William Tracer, mother Effernetta Tracer, husband Johnny Earl Jacobs, sister Luella DeRoboam, brothers Harvel and Harlyn Tracer.

LueEze Carol Jacobs was born Aug. 31, 1931, at home in Rogue River, Ore., a daughter to the late William and Effernetta Cornelius Tracer. On Feb. 24, 1949, she married Johnny Earl Jacobs Sr. they made their home in Prospect, Ore., until June 1957, when they moved to Del Norte County.

Her respected career as homemaker also embodied foster mother, den mother for the Cub Scouts and elder care. She was employed by the Del Norte County School District as noon supervisor at Redwood and Crescent Elk. Her main purposes in life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

LueEze is survived by her sisters, Lucille Koger of Rogue River, Ore.; La Donna Phillips of Costa Mesa, Calif.; Lorraine Baker of Central Point, Ore., and one brother, Harold L. Tracer of Silverdale, Wash.

Three children all residents of Crescent City: Linda Jacobs Schlack and spouse Raymond; Johnny E. Jacobs and spouse Linda Sue and Michael Jacobs.

Grandchildren: Jeremy and spouse Julie Jacobs of Crescent City; Julianne Jacobs of Crescent City; Aaron and spouse Samantha Jacobs of Windsor, Calif.; Lawrence and spouse Tranell Jacobs of Santa Rosa; Anna and spouse Shane Mayfield of Terrebon, Ore.; Benjamin Jacobs of Crescent City and Osa Jacobs of Santa Rosa, Calif. Aaron Eller of Maui, Hawaii, and Adam Eller of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Great-grandchildren include Callista and Briana; Tvshiina, Evelynne and Grace, Sophia, Micah and Loren.
