George “Cal” Calvin Bradshaw, 79, of Harbor, passed away from a heart attack which led to a tragic car accident on July 18, 2014. George was born on Dec. 28, 1934, in the San Bernardino, to George Calvin Sr. and Sarah Elizabeth Bradshaw. His family moved to Crescent City when George was still a young boy. He went to elementary school at the site that is now Lake Earl Storage.  It was a one-room school for all eight grades. Later George attended Del Norte High School. Throughout his school years, he made many good friends that he kept for his entire life. Several of which he still kept in contact with and close to his heart til the end. He was first a commercial fisherman, then later he worked as service manager for Suburban Propane until he retired.

After retirement, George and his wife, Wilda, started their traveling years. In more recent years, he made quite a few more friends in Harbor, where he lived the past nine years. He always seemed to make friends wherever he went. His good nature served him well. He also loved all of his family greatly.

George leaves behind his sons, Calvin W. Bradshaw and Michael W. Bradshaw and his daughter, Angela M. Bradshaw. He also leaves several cousins and grandchildren: George Bradshaw, Amanda Bradshaw, Samantha Bradshaw, Jessie Bradshaw and Kaylee Bradshaw.

He loved them all deeply and will be missed by all, both family and friends, including his beloved pet cat “Hair Ball.”

A Celebration of Life services will be announced in the Triplicate at a later date.
