Donation for veterans

The Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post 1381 in Crescent City, held a roast beef dinner fundraiser in September for the Fisher House in Palo Alto, a recovery house for wounded Iraq War veterans that is totally funded by public donations. The Fisher House is a home away from home for wounded veterans and their families during extended physical recovery. Pictured left to right, Jr. Vice, Lydia Gates, President, Mary Driscoll.
