Kelsey Hintz of the Del Norte High tennis team during her match in Eureka on Wednesday. The Warriors won 8-1 to improve to 11-0 in the Humboldt-Del Norte Conference and secure the HDNC title. In the No. 1 player match, Emma Wilson defeated Crystal Parker 6-4, 6-2. No. 2 Rebecca Cink won against Laura Kramer 6-1, 6-1. No. 3 Jennifer Gustafson lost to Jenna Madsen 6-1, 4-6, 3-6. No. 4 Lauren Godla downed Vivi Smith 6-4, 7-6 (7-5). No. 5 Ashleigh Speaker defeated Elise Adams 6-3, 6-3. No. 6 Kelsy Hintz won against Tara Matruolo 6-1, 7-5. In the doubles matches, Wilson and Cink defeated Parker and Kramer 8-1. Gustafson and Godla defeated Madsen and Smith 8-0, and Hintz and Rachel Cink won against Adams and Matruolo 8-2. On Saturday, the conference singles championships  will take place at McKinleyville High School starting at 10 a.m. (Submitted photo).
