For those who still have apples and aren’t sure what to do with them, there’ll be a cider press Wednesday at the Downtown Crescent City Farmers & Artisans Market.

Held as part of Food Day, people should bring apples and containers for cider, said Connor Caldwell, food projects coordinator for the Community Food Council. The Food Council will be running the apple press from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. and handing out samples of fresh juice.

If people would like to donate apples, they should call Caldwell at 707-464-0955.

The Downtown Crescent City Farmers & Artisans Market is open 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday at the corner of Front and K streets in Crescent City.
