The Crescent City Council will meet in regular session Monday night and hold public hearings to reallocate CDBG funds from youth services (literacy program) to food services (the food bank), and to update the city’s fee schedule.
Under new business, the council will hear a staff report and take public comment, and possibly take action, to allow the city manager to submit a $30,000 grant application to the California Endowment to work with local trines to increase cultural diversity.
The council will take public comment and consider whether to authorize the city manager to submit a $10,000 grant application to the California Endowment to support a human-centered design approach for community engagement.
The council will also consider giving its support to Propositions 1, 2 and 3 and its opposition to Proposition 6.
The council will consider sending out a request for proposals for contract operation of certain city utilities.
The council will also respond to the 2017/2018 Grand Jury Report on the Fred Endert Municipal Pool.
