For nearly a decade Bob’s Boys were the kings of the Del Norte Recreation Department’s mens upper division basketball league, winning nine straight championships. The Wolves halted that streak last season by knocking off the reigning champs in the title round.

This year Bob’s Boys were back, tying for first place in the regular season with Klamath River Construction/ Youngins’ with an 11-1 record. On Thursday, Bob’s Boys met the Wolves in the championship game for the second year in a row, coming away with a 80-70 victory at Del Norte High School to claim yet another championship.
