A woman reported missing from Arcata under unusual circumstances last month remains missing but Arcata Police have taken a report of a possible recent sighting in Crescent City.

Erin Elizabeth Henry, 22, was last seen by her roommate in the 100 block of Samoa Boulevard on Nov. 25 and has not been seen or heard from since. Her phone, wallet and car were found at her residence.

According to a published flyer, her family says her disappearance and the circumstances are very out of character for her.

As for the possible sighting in Crescent City, Arcata Police Officer Richard Bergstresser cautions people not to stop looking for her in other areas.

“We get a lot of possible sighting reports when things like this are publicized,” he said.

Bergstresser noted Henry recently sustained a broken ankle and was last known to use a wheeled “cart” device that allows the user to suspend one leg and scoot forward with the other.

She is 5-foot-8, of thin build with blonde to light brown hair and hazel eyes. She can be identified by a tattoo that covers most of her forearm; a long-stemmed poppy with the words “Anna Rowland, 1993-2016.”

Anyone with information should contact Arcata Police Department at 707-822-2428.
