A small earthquake in the Pacific Ocean struck near Crescent City Monday morning.
The magnitude 3.5 temblor struck about 34 miles west of Crescent City at about 1:15 a.m. Pacific time, according to the USGS website. The quake was at a depth of 8 miles, according the USGS.
As of press time, the Triplicate received no reports from people who felt the earthquake. The quake didn’t show up on the U.S. Tsunami Warning Center, according to the agency’s website.
