The Interfaith Fellowship Council is looking for volunteers to help with cleanup and painting at Brother Jonathan Park today.

JustServe needs roughly 90 volunteers to repair and clean up the Brother Jonathan memorial, including the anchors. The kiosk and bathrooms will also be painted. The volunteer group will also move 100 yards of wood chips into the park’s playground.

Leather gloves, rubberized gloves, eye protection, paint rollers and paint brushes will be provided by the Interfaith Fellowship Council. The city will provide paint, ladders, rust scrapers, liquid stabilizer, first aid kit, painters’ tarps, cleanup provisions for brushes, rollers and hands and drinking water.

Volunteers should wear old clothes and shoes as well as sun protection.

The work is scheduled from 9 a.m.-noon on Saturday. Youth ages 14-17 are welcome to participate. For more information, call 707-464-9506 or 707- 218-7245.
