Rangers are seeking the public’s help in identifying two men suspected of vehicle burglary and using a stolen credit card in the Klamath area late last month.
In late July a vehicle was broken into while parked on Alder Camp Road near the mouth of the Klamath River, according to a press release from Redwood National and State Parks. Several items were taken from the vehicle and not long afterwards a credit card stolen during the burglary was used at the Pey Mey Fuel Mart in Klamath, according to the press release.
Even though security cameras captured two suspects and their vehicle, attempts to identify them have been unsuccessful, according to the press release. The men are associated with a dark-colored, four-door sedan, according to the release.
Redwood National and State Parks asks that anyone with information on the suspects’ identity call Ranger Spero at (707) 465-7752.
People can also report criminal activity within the parks anonymously on its tip line at (707) 465-7353.
