Crescent City Council meets in open session 6 p.m. Monday at The Flynn Center.

Council will hear a presentation regarding Measure C, a proposal to raise the Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) in the county to pay off a USDA loan and make repairs at Crescent City Harbor.

Council has no public hearings on the agenda. It will hear a staff report and take public comment before considering whether to authorize the city manager to accept a $40,000 grant from the U.S. Economic Development Administration for a comprehensive economic development strategy.

The agency will also discuss and give direction to staff regarding a Pelican Bay State Prison work crew and declare surplus property for sale or disposal.

The Flynn Center is at 981 H. St., and public comment is welcome.
