Del Norte County Sheriff’s investigators say little is known about a conflict in Smith River last Wednesday that allegedly resulted in a subject ramming a house with a car.
Sheriff’s Cmdr. Bill Steven said the incident was reported at 10:12 p.m., but not much more is known. It was reported to dispatch a female subject ran into a house in the 12600 block of Indian Road and another subject was repeatedly backing into the house with a vehicle.
However, all involved subjects had left the area before deputies arrived, Steven said.
It’s not known if the owner of the vehicle also owns the house, if any damage was done to either, or if any injuries were sustained by the involved parties.
A case has been opened by the sheriff’s office and anyone with information is asked to call 707-464-4191.
