The Del Norte Association for Cultural Awareness hopes to get a head start on planning its 2019-2020 concert series and is seeking the community’s input.

DNACA’s executive director, Stephanie Wenning, said she’s launched a survey via Survey Monkey and hopes to find out what kinds of performances regular concert goers would like to see. But, she said, she’s more interested in what keeps people from attending a DNACA concert.

“I hear from people who are there a lot,” she said. “I want to know who’s not coming and why and what would (get) them to come. What can we do differently for them?”

The survey not only asks people what kinds of genres they’re interested in, it also seeks input from people about how much they’re willing to pay for a single ticket.

For those that don’t have internet access, there are paper surveys available at the DNACA office. Wenning said people can call and have a survey sent to their home or they can come by and pick one up.

“I want to get the season at least sort of cemented by the end of January so ideally, I’d like to have input by the end of December,” Wenning said, adding that she’ll be reporting back to the organization’s board of directors. “I’ll be looking at responses through January.”

People can access the survey by visiting, DNACA’s office is located at 501 H St., Suite 8, Crescent City. For more information, call 707- 464-1336.
