Outage Site

This is the area in Crescent City where the power line was effected.

A power line down at 9th and B Streets in Crescent City has cut electrical service to more than 1,400 customer in the area.

The outage has caused the traffic signal at Highway 101 and 9th Street to be flashing red, according to Crescent City Police dispatch.

Tom Gauntt at Pacific Power said the outage occurred at about 2:20 this afternoon after a tree limb fell across a power line.

Crews are responding to the scene and Gauntt said restoration of the power is expected by 4:30 p.m.
