Sandra Lynn Justice was born in Fortuna, to her loving parents, Winnefred Bisconner-Van Loon and Aurthur VanLoon on June 5th, 1945. She was raised in Carlotta, alongside her brother, Aurthur VanLoon Jr., and her sister, Birdie Brownfield. She was a joyful child who loved spending time with her grandmother, Birdie Taylor Bisconner.

Straight out of high school she married the true love of her life, Raymond Leroy Justice. For years they ran Justice and Justice Distributing, and in ‘65 they welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Raelene Justice. Shortly after, in ‘67, they welcomed a precious little boy, Michael Ray Justice. She adored her children and took wonderful care of them until her last breath on Nov. 11, 2018. Even in her advanced state of disease, she was more concerned with how her kids were than herself. That’s just the kind of person she was.

She loved her Justice family like her own, including Ray’s parents, Peggy and Harrold, and siblings-in-law, Norman, and Beverly.

She held and loved her job as a CNA at Good Sam’s for 15 years. She adored her doggies and absolutely doted on her grandchildren, Whitney, Mike Jr., Shila, Christopher, Ashley, Alyssa, Chelsea, Cody, Cayla, Skylar, Jacob, and Eliana. She even treated other children in her church as her own.

She was committed to her strong faith in Jesus Christ and was active in her church, Cornerstone Assembly of God. She was an incredible prayer warrior who prayed several hours every single morning. She was instrumental in the starting of the local rescue mission her son founded in ‘06. She was a board member and volunteered, serving hot food and loving on the people in need.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Winnefred and Aurthur; her brother, Aurthur Jr.; along with several on the Justice side, Peggy and Harold; and sadly, very early, her beloved husband Ray. She never remarried, and always considered herself still married to her beloved Ray. Her faithfulness was second to none.

She is survived by her sister, Birdie; in-law siblings, Beverly and Norman; children, Mike and Raelene; and all 12 grandchildren.

She would want anyone reading this to know that God loves them and they have purpose and a future in Christ. She’d give you her one-of-a-kind smile and a big hug.

In lieu of flowers, Sandy requested donations to go to Daily Bread Ministries at 1135 Harrold Street in loving memory of her.

Sandra Lynn Justice June 5, 1945 - Nov. 11, 2018. Forever loved, forever missed. Rest in Paradise.
