Mike passed away on Dec. 26, 2018, in Medford, Oregon. He was born to Edmond and Dorothy Richcreek in Jacksonville, Florida, but the family soon relocated to Oregon. Mike attended schools in Portland and Astoria. He then served in the US Army from 1968-1971. After his service to our country, he settled in Crescent City, where he met and married Julie Hildebrandt. Mike spent many years fishing on his boat, the Amanda J. He then drove a truck several years for Gus Allen and finished his driving career with Hambro.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Craig Richcreek. He is survived by his wife, Julie Richcreek; son, Jason Richcreek; daughters, Amanda Richcreek and Kelsey (David) Ford, all of Crescent City; grandson, Adam Ford, who is currently
in AIT at Fort Benning, Georgia; granddaughters, Katalina and Destiny Richcreek of Cyril, Oklahoma, Diego and Bianca Cruz, Addison, Jacob and Jaxson Ford, all of Crescent City; siblings, Ed (Donna) Richcreek, Sandy (James) Cummings and Brian (Dana) Richcreek; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mike was known as “such a nice man” and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at Redwoods Family Worship Center, 2900 English Lane, Crescent City, on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, at 11 a.m.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in remembrance of Mike.
