Beatrice Marie Beck (Schilling) passed peacefully, 10 days before her 90th birthday, on Jan. 13, 2019, in Plymouth. She was born Jan. 23, 1929, in Reedsport, Oregon. She spent her entire adult life in California living, among other places, in West Point, Jackson, Sacramento, Salinas, Cedar Grove and Crescent City, where she lived her last 20 years to be near her grandchildren. She stayed with her daughter Judy in Plymouth on and off during her last several years.
Bea was Past Worthy Matron of Azalia-Angels Chapter 77 O.E.S. in San Andreas in 1960. She worked for Pacific Bell (AT&T) for 23 years. Her greatest passions were her husband, children and grandchildren, shopping, playing bingo with her friends and gardening.
Bea was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Lindley Beck; daughter, Linda Fullbright; son, Clifford Beck; sister, Ellen Simmons; brother, Stanford Schilling; and her special companion of 18 years, Misty the cat. She is survived by daughter, Judith Pace (Roy) of Plymouth; daughter-in-law, Gretchen Beck of Sparks, Nevada; grandchildren, Michelle Enos (Eric) of Crescent City, Diana Runkle (Ray) of Grove City, Ohio, and Dana Huckaby (Ryan Sims) of Sparks, Nevada; great-grandchildren, Brittany Wyckoff (Robbie), Jonathan Enos (Katelin) and Rylee Sims; great-great- granddaughter, Amelia Wyckoff; sisters, Frances Fuchs (Lonnie) and Madelyn Clark (Dale); and many nieces and nephews in Weaverville and the Sacramento area.
Internment will be in San Andreas, next to her husband, daughter, son, mother and father, on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019.
Mom was a kind and generous person who will be missed by everyone who knew her. Funeral arrangements under the care of San Andreas Memorial Chapel in San Andreas.
