Measure A should be soundly defeated. It is nothing more than a gimmick to limit your choices as a voter and citizen. The people behind this measure do not believe the average person should have a say in how the local county supervisor office is governed.

If a person is effective at their job such as Gerry Hemmingsen but does not vote the way certain people would like, then this is a way of limiting the time that person is in office. It takes at least a couple of years to get up to speed and learn all you need to become an effective supervisor. We don’t need a bunch of inexperienced people constantly coming into office with an extremist agenda to pursue.

We already have term limits, it’s called voting. The Founding Fathers did not believe in term limits and neither should we. Vote no on Measure A.\
