The annual Redwood Wild River Run is back, and quickly approaching. The annual 5k or 10k event scheduled to kick off at 11 a.m. on March 16.

The Redwood Wild River Run starts at the covered bridge on South Fork Road where the race begins. Participants may walk or run either a 5k or a 10 k course which includes an out and back on fently rolling, hard-packed gravel along the Smith River and through scenic old growth redwood forest.

Pre-registration runs through today for $15 per participant, but starting tomorrow the cost to register will rise to $20. Heavy-weight hooded sweatshits are also availible for $30.
