The College of the Redwoods and Humboldt State University have formalized a partnership designed to make it easier for students who transfer to earn a four-year degree.

The agreement facilitates joint academic programs, admissions, intercollegiate athletics, university housing and campus safety.

“We’re excited to  be creating a framework of educational opportunities for College of the Redwoods students to become Humboldt State students and earn their four-year degree," Humboldt State University President Tom Jackson said.

College of the Redwoods is based in Eureka and has a Crescent City campus that offers associate degrees.
