‘Christian Concert’ at the fair

   The Del Norte County Fair and Del Norte churches are bringing Christian artist Coffey Anderson to the Del Norte County Fairgrounds on Aug. 1 — the first day of the fair — for the fourth-annual “Christian Concert.”

   The concert will serve as a fundraiser for CASA Del Norte.

   Anderson is an American/country Christian singer, songwriter and internet personality who broke onto the music scene through his cover songs on YouTube, before participating in “Nashville Star” in 2008.

   Advanced tickets are selling for general admission to the Del Norte County Fair and the concert. The cost for a ticket is $10 for adults 13 and older.

   Aug. 1 is “Kids Day” at the county fair, so young people 12 and under will be allowed free admission to both the fair and the concert. VIP platform seating is also available, for $15 per ticket.
