Christmas light parade and downtown festivities postponed

The Crescent City Downtown Divas have made the decision, along with the City of Crescent City and ReMax, to postpone First Friday and the downtown Christmas events scheduled for this Friday, Dec. 6th due to weather conditions.

Live from Downtown: it’s First Friday!, the community christmas light parade, and the tree lighting is being rescheduled for next Friday, Dec. 13th. A serious storm is reported to come in this Friday with not only rain, but heavy winds.

By postponing the event, we hope to ensure an enjoyable community event including Downtown shopping, the light parade, the Christmas tree lighting and a visit from Santa!
