The Del Norte County Public Health Branch said it will provide free flu vaccines through the month of October.

The free shots will be available at the following clinics:

— Sept. 26 at the Fort Dick Fire Hall, 6534 Kings Valley Rd., 5:30-7 p.m.

— Oct. 1 at Del Norte County Public Health, 400 L St., Crescent City, 1:30-3 p.m.   

— Oct. 3 at the Smith River at United Indian Health Services Office, 1600 Weeot Way, Arcata, 1:30-4:30 p.m.

— Oct. 6 at the Bi-National Health Fair: Del Norte Community Health Center/Open Door, 550 East Washington Blvd., Suite 100, noon-4 p.m.

— Oct. 16 at the Klamath Community Center, 219 Salmon Rd., Klamath, 12:30-2 p.m.

— Oct. 21 at Gasquet Bible Church, 1340 Gasquet Flat Rd., 5:30-7 p.m.

— Oct. 24 at the Del Norte Senior Center, 1765 Northcrest Dr., Crescent City, 12:30-2 p.m.

The free flu vaccines are for ages 18 and older. Children should receive their annual flu vaccine from their provider.
