Crescent City will host two Beachfront Park meetings on Oct. 14, from 12-1 p.m. and 5:30-6:30 p.m., to discuss the most popular options for the park’s improvement.

Last month, the city held two townhall meetings regarding Beachfront Park renovations funded by California Proposition 68, a $4.1-million bond for state and local park renovations. In the first round of funding, Crescent City will receive at least $200,000 to enhance Beachfront Park.

In the previous townhall meetings, they took renovation suggestions from residents and compiled a list of the most-wanted projects, including but not limited to a bike and pump track, splash pads, a labyrinth and a botanical garden.

These meetings will take place at the Crescent City Cultural Center on 1001 Front St. Attendees can choose between the lunch hour or the evening meeting.
