Last week, the Redwood Theatre in Brookings hosted a packed house for the premier showing of Bad Fish. The film was shot on location from Port Orford down to Crescent City.
Many of those attending the debut were involved in the film. Applause rang out when favorite locations hit the silver screen.
Director Brad Douglas was in the audience along with leading cast members Jonny Lee and Abby Wathen. Locals and familiar locations were featured, including the Crescent City Harbor, Ocean World, The Bank, Del Norte Ambulance, Brookings Harbor and Harris Beach.
It was truly a celebration of our home and our people. The film will travel to Europe for showings in various film festivals. A distributor will be sought, and it is hoped a distribution of Bad Fish will soon be available to the public.
