Photos: Hundreds of people line the street to watch Crescent City's Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting

Del Norte residents, including kids who cheered from the sidewalk and caught pieces of candy thrown by people from decorated fire trucks, floats, and even a boat, lined the streets of downtown Crescent City on Dec. 3.

After the parade there was the lighting of the tree in the Plaza at 3rd and K Streets, as well as the singing of Christmas carols by the North Coast Chorale and the Del Norte High School Madrigals.

The parade was sponsored by The Crescent City Downtown Divas, the City of Crescent City, Re/Max Coastal Redwoods Real Estate, and Potter Real Estate Group, Inc.
