On what can be described as a magnificent Spring day, a record 180 classics, antiques, hot rods and motorcycles showed out at the 29th Annual Azalea Benefit car show at the Brookings Harbor.
The event was organized by the Curry County Cruisers and sponsored by Zola’s.
Co-presidents Timothy and Lori Connolly and the Cruisers put on quite a show, with all proceeds benefiting needy organizations.
Cars from Washington, Oregon and California covering a multitude of stock and modified categories were proudly represented.
Also on site was the Azalea Pageant queen and her court.
The Connelly’s and the Curry Cruisers will meet next week and donate all proceeds to needy organizations.
In the past, Safe and Sober Graduation, Fireworks, Oasis, the fire department, Humane Society and various city and county children’s programs have been assisted by this Cruiser event.
