The annual Soroptimist International of Crescent City annual Holiday Artisan Fair is scheduled for 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 24 at the Crescent City Cultural Center, 1001 Front St.
There will be more than 30 vendors selling a variety of items, said a Soroptimist spokesperson.
In addition, the group will set up a tea and coffee table, with proceeds going to projects that help women around the world gain access to well water and clean water.
Soroptimist International’s stated goal is to improve the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment.
The Crescent City chapter has helped with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Life Jacket Program, and its members purchased a bench as part of the Points of Honor Memorial.
The group’s two dozen members meet at noon, on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month, at the Apple Peddler restaurant, 308 U.S. Highway 101.
