Redwood Parks Conservancy introduced partnership with California State Parks, Northwest Coast Redwoods District, seeks volunteers to helping azalea restoration on the Humboldt Lagoons State Park.
Meet Saturday, February 22 at 10AM at the stage coach hill Azalea Trailhead, at Big Lagoon Ranch Road.
The project involves the restoration of western azaleas by removing competing vegation and invasive plants. Wear sturdy shoes, bring a hat, water and e prepared for moderate activity. Tools and gloves will be provided.
