The mood was festive, the food delicious, the Del Norte High School Jazz Band was entertaining and great as a crowd of 75 in the community were on hand to celebrate Advanced Air’s first anniversary of service from the Crescent City regional airport (CEC) to Oakland (OAK) and Los Angeles Hawthorne (HHR), from main terminal building, last Monday evening
Smith River’s Jason Cowley was recognized by Advanced Air’s as its 15,000th customer on Advanced Air inaugural service when he flew down to OAK, this past Valentine’s Day. For his timely good fortune, Advanced Air’s president Levi Stockton presented a gratis ticket to Jason to fly to OAK or Los Angeles Hawthorne Jet Center.
During the celebration, a total of five additional RT tickets were drawn by Stockton, good for Advanced Air Service to either destination.
A dozen Advanced Air sweatshirts were also drawn from the ticket fish bowl by president Stockton.
Business Operations Vice President Barbara Hunt announced an agreement with Alaska Air (AA) via OAK to make connection throughout the AA network for direct service to Las Vegas, Phoenix, Portland and Seattle.
Flights to OAK Are daily a service to Los Angeles Hawthorne are Thursday’s and Sunday.
Effective June 29, Additional flights will be added on Mondays and Saturday.
