Crescent City- The Crescent City Harbor Commission (CCHD) has accepted the resignation of beleaguered Harbormaster Tim Petrick, effective, October 1 Petrick has been under intense scrutiny and criticism for alleged misuse of the CCHD credit card and failure to provide commissioners with monthly credit card receipts.
Board president Harry Adams expressed the Commission’s sentiments stating, “We have accepted Mr. Petrick’s resignation and extend our best wishes for his future endeavors. The Board is committed to ensuring a smooth transition and continue to focus on the long-term success of our Harbor.”
Assistant Harbormaster Mike Rademaker added “The Crescent City Harbor District remains dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of service during this transition.”
Three incumbent commissioners have chosen not to run again. Commissioners Wes White, Brian Stone and president Harry Adams did not file papers for the November 5th election. Five candidates are vying for the three vacancies.
