38 Bike Adventurists with big hearts passed through Crescent City, last Tuesday enroute to San Diego.
The Fuller Center Bike Adventurers started their journey May 30 from Seattle and will arrive in “America’s Finest City” June 29 celebrating its 20th anniversary.
Founder Millard Fuller (1935-2009), a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, founded the Bike Center with the quote, “Everyone deserves a decent place to live.” Fuller’s mission is focused on serving God by raising funds to help those needing “a decent places to live.”
From Americus, Georgia, the Fuller Center Bike Adventures serves 90 cities, housed 8400 families across 20 countries .
The group bunked down Tuesday night at the United Methodist Church.
Much appreciation to the California Highway Patrol and Captain Larry Depee for assisting the bicyclists through Humboldt County and advising other CHP offices through to San Diego.
