Chipotle Mexican Grill will be opening soon in Crescent City.
At the end of the February 21 council meeting, City Manager Eric Wier broke the news to councilors that Chipotle Mexican Grill is presenting its plans for its newest restaurant to the Crescent City Planning Department.
The location of the Chipotle Grill in Crescent City is a three-quarter acre vacant parcel, between the segments of Highway 101, at Ninth and L Streets.
Chipotle, founded in 1993 is noted for its fresh Mexican cuisine and famous for its wide selection of burritos and bowls.
The chain has approximately 3,200 stores across the United States, United Kingdom, Germany and France.
Groundbreaking will be announced pending planning and city approval.
