The City of Crescent City bids Good Luck and farewell with a Special Commendation Certificate to Police Sergeant Jennifer Owen as she joins the Del Norte Sheriff's Department as a newly-appointed captain.
The 17 year veteran CCPD Sergeant was surrounded by her family at Tuesday’s City Council meeting. Fellow former officers from the Police Department and deputies from her new Department. Captain Owen and her family are Del Norte-rooted.
Captain Owen will likely oversee the Corrections Division but may be deployed in Court Security, Field Operations and the Coroner’s Office, within the Del Norte Sheriff Department. Congratulations and best wishes with to Del Norte Sheriff’s Captain Jennifer Owen.
