Posing as Coast Central employees, scammers request members to verify recent or pending transactions. From caller ID misleading the Credit Union’s main phone number (707) 455-8801, scammers request personal financial information, under the guise of assisting the member.
Coast Central Credit Union wishes to clarify these calls are not originating from their offices and are in fact a deliberate attempt to deceive and defraud Coast Central members.
Please remain vigilant and exercise caution when receiving these calls. Never disclose personal information over the phone. Inquire about the caller’s name, department and direct contact information, then terminate the call. Please contact the Member Support Team to verify the legitimacy of any communication.
