College of the Redwoods announces the appointment of Dr. Kristin Lima as its new Dean of the Del Norte Center and Pelican Bay Program.
Dr. Lima’s professional experience includes a wealth of teaching administrative experience in elementary and secondary education. For the past decade, Dr. Lima served as a community College Dean in both California and Oregon. Her background includes extensive experience in instruction, accreditation, curriculum development, workforce partnerships and community collaboration. Dr. Lima’s leadership in fiscal planning, union negotiations and strategic enrollment has helped her to effectively support faculty, students and community stakeholders as a new dean.
Dr. Lima comes to CR from Mt. Hood Community College in Oregon.
“I’m thrilled to join the CR family and be a part of the Del Norte community. I look forward to working closely with the Del Norte Unified School District and the Chamber of Commerce.” Dr. Lima holds a Master of International Business Management and an Ed.D in Organizational Leadership as well as K12 Teaching and Administrative credentials.
