County reported new coronavirus case July 13, but had no active cases
The Del Norte County Public Health Branch reported one new confirmed case of COVID-19 on Monday, July 13. However, the case had completed isolation and is recovered.
“As with the rest of the nation, we are experiencing lag times between commercial testing and reporting of results. This delay in reporting is approximately 9-12 days after testing,” the report said. “Which means that this new case has already completed isolation and is considered recovered. Contract tracing has been completed and all close contacts have been identified and placed in quarantine. All of our active cases have completed isolation and are recovered.”
The latest reported case brings the county’s total confirmed cases to 61, with all of them recovered and considered inactive. There are currently no known active cases and no hospitalizations. There have been no deaths in Del Norte County attributed to COVID-19.
